Amman: The value of commercial exports (re-exports) from Zarqa reached approximately JD 43.84 million in August, according to statistics on certificates of origin issued by the Zarqa Chamber of Commerce and its office in the Zarqa Free Zone. According to Jordan News Agency, the statistics showed that 360 certificates of origin were issued during the month, reflecting continued commercial activity and re-export operations in the city. President of the Zarqa Chamber of Commerce Hussein Shreim said that vehicles and their parts accounted for the largest share of commercial exports in August. Other exported goods included construction materials and sanitary ware, medicines and related supplies, food products, clothing and jewelry, electrical and electronic appliances, and household and office furniture and stationery. Commercial exports from Zarqa amounted to approximately JD 39.5 million in August last year.
