Amman: The Zarqa Chamber of Industry hosted ambassadors from ASEAN countries to discuss expanding economic cooperation, investment opportunities, and industrial partnerships between Jordan and Southeast Asia. Chamber Chair Fares Hamouda highlighted investment opportunities in Zarqa and Mafraq, emphasizing Jordan's strategic advantages, such as free trade agreements, export opportunities, political stability, and investment incentives.

According to Jordan News Agency, Hamouda invited ASEAN investors to explore opportunities in Jordan's industrial cities, particularly Zarqa Industrial City. He called for a greater exchange of expertise to support high-value industries and boost Jordanian exports. The ASEAN ambassadors showed interest in strengthening trade ties with Jordan and exploring cooperation in areas including raw materials, agricultural products, veterinary products, and halal food industries.

They also welcomed future visits by ASEAN business delegations to Jordan to explore investment opportunities and establish partnerships with Jordanian companies.
