Zarqa January Exports at JD40m

Zarqa: The value of commercial exports and re-exports of the city of Zarqa was at about JD40 million during the month of January, Zarqa Chamber of Commerce President Hussein Shraim said Saturday.

According to Jordan News Agency, cars and auto accessories topped the export list, in addition to construction materials, sanitary ware, pharmaceuticals, food, clothing, jewelry, electrical and electronic devices, home and office furniture, and stationery. A press release detailed these categories as the main contributors to the city's export figures.

The Chamber, led by Shraim, issued 355 certificates of origin at the Zarqa Free Zone last month. These certificates are essential for the validation and authentication of goods being exported, ensuring compliance with international trade standards.
