Close The Border Smuggling Lanes East Of Diyala

The engineering effort has begun to implement a plan to close the smuggling corridors east of Diyala, which are being exploited by smuggling gangs.

A security source told the correspondent of the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA /: “The plan to close the border passages from Qazaniyeh and Mandali districts has begun to be implemented by an engineering team, and it includes the installation of barbed wire and control towers with the redeployment in the border posts at long distances.”

He added: “The tightening of measures on the border strip between Iraq and Iran came to prevent smuggling and the flow of any prohibited materials, and there will be monitoring and follow-up operations after providing the towers with cameras covering the entire area.”

Commission Of Integrity: Five Officials From The Ministry Of Health Summoned

The Federal Integrity Commission announced today, Thursday, the summon of five officials from the Ministry of Health.

A statement by the Commission stated that “the Rusafa Investigation Court, which is specialized in integrity issues, decided to summon all those authorized the authority of the Director General of the Baghdad Health Departments – Rusafa and Diwaniyah, in addition to the Director General of the Department of Technical Affairs in the General Company for Marketing Medicines and Medical Supplies, because they refused to submit a financial disclosure form without legitimate excuse.

It added, “The Nineveh Investigation Court, which is specialized in examining cases of integrity, issued an order to summon the former Director General of the Nineveh Health Department, on the subject of his disbursement of sums of money during the control of the terrorist ISIS elements over the province, in violation of the controls and instructions.”

It stated, “A summon order has been issued against the former director general of the Babylon Health Department,” explaining that “the order issued by the Hilla Investigation Court, which specializes in integrity issues, came against the backdrop of the Health Department’s purchase of monitor devices at exaggerated prices.”

It stated that “the cost of purchasing the devices amounted to (250,000,000) dinars, despite their lack of conformity with ministerial specifications.”

The Jordanian heritage was even demonstrated through the henna ceremony for the bride-to-be, Miss Rajwa, which was held at the Zahran Palace by Her Majesty Queen Rania. In addition, His Royal Highness Prince Omar bin Faisal hosted a traditional bath ceremony for the groom at his father’s residence. The festivities culminated in a grand feast “Al-Qirah”, hosted by His Majesty King Abdullah II at the Madareb Bani Hashem in the Royal Hashemite Court, where guests from all regions of the kingdom were honored on this cherished occasion.
