The Federal Integrity Commission announced today, Thursday, the summon of five officials from the Ministry of Health.

A statement by the Commission stated that “the Rusafa Investigation Court, which is specialized in integrity issues, decided to summon all those authorized the authority of the Director General of the Baghdad Health Departments – Rusafa and Diwaniyah, in addition to the Director General of the Department of Technical Affairs in the General Company for Marketing Medicines and Medical Supplies, because they refused to submit a financial disclosure form without legitimate excuse.

It added, “The Nineveh Investigation Court, which is specialized in examining cases of integrity, issued an order to summon the former Director General of the Nineveh Health Department, on the subject of his disbursement of sums of money during the control of the terrorist ISIS elements over the province, in violation of the controls and instructions.”

It stated, “A summon order has been issued against the former director general of the Babylon Health Department,” explaining that “the order issued by the Hilla Investigation Court, which specializes in integrity issues, came against the backdrop of the Health Department’s purchase of monitor devices at exaggerated prices.”

It stated that “the cost of purchasing the devices amounted to (250,000,000) dinars, despite their lack of conformity with ministerial specifications.”
