As many as 923,000 tons of imported wheat have been traded on the Egyptian Exchange over 66 trading sessions till mid August, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Commodities Exchange (EGYCOMEX) Ibrahim Ashmawy said on Saturday 19/08/2023.
A total of 45,000 tons of imported maize have been traded on the Egyptian Exchange over 19 trading sessions.
He pointed out that the offering of these strategic commodities is part of the political leadership's directives to control markets and deal with all global developments transparently.
