Beit Lahia: The Mayor of Beit Lahia in northern Gaza, Alaa Attar, has reported that 95% of Palestinian homes in Beit Lahia have been destroyed and rendered uninhabitable. This devastation has resulted in 100,000 residents becoming homeless and has turned the area into a disaster zone.
According to Jordan News Agency, Attar noted that 80% of the water wells have been entirely destroyed. The healthcare sector has also suffered damage, with Kamal Adwan Hospital targeted, the Indonesian Hospital burned, and 23 vehicles belonging to the health sector destroyed.
Attar further highlighted the food insecurity resulting from the destruction of farmland. Additionally, several heavy machinery units and all buildings associated with the Beit Lahia Municipality have been demolished.
