Ramallah - Ma'an - The Prisoners' Affairs Commission said on Wednesday morning, based on its lawyer's visit to Gilboa prison two days ago, that the prisoners are living a tragic life and a painful reality due to the fascist and racist policies adopted by the occupation prison administration in dealing with them. The Authority noted that among the methods used by the administration are beating, cursing, breaking, and storming rooms and sections, which have become a fixed routine. The food provided to them is still poor in quantity and quality, and there is a severe shortage of clothes and blankets, and there are no indications of taking into account the weather conditions with the arrival of winter, in addition to the spread of skin diseases, the absence of cleaning materials and disinfectants, the continuation of the policy of isolation from the outside world, and the imposition of restrictions and obstacles on communication within the rooms and sections. The Commission added that the sections inside the pr isons are still suffering from severe overcrowding, and the detainee cannot sit or move except on the space of the mattress he owns.
