ACC Allocates JD10 Million Interest-Free Loans to Livestock Sector in 2025

Amman: The Board of Directors of the Agricultural Credit Corporation (ACC), led by Minister of Agriculture Khaled Hneifat, has announced the allocation of JD10 million in interest-free loans for Jordan's livestock breeders as part of its lending plan for the current year.

According to Jordan News Agency, the ACC statement released on Wednesday highlighted that this decision aims to support beneficiaries in purchasing and securing essential fodder in response to the Kingdom's drought conditions, which have adversely affected natural pastures. The statement emphasized the importance of these loans in mitigating the challenges faced by livestock breeders due to environmental conditions.

Additionally, the Board has resolved to include various agricultural activities within the areas managed by the Wadi Araba Development Company. These initiatives are designed to benefit local residents, associations, and agricultural companies, enabling them to access ACC's loan services. The targeted areas are part of a development strategy intended to make them appealing for investment projects that will, in turn, benefit the local population and help achieve regional stability.

The ACC's efforts are aligned with the Economic Modernization Vision and the National Plan for Sustainable Agriculture, aiming to promote sustainable development. The initiative is expected to contribute significantly to the region's economic growth and ensure a stable environment for its agricultural community.
