Amman: The Aqaba Container Terminal (ACT) announced the first of its two gantry cranes were dismantled after reaching the end of their service life, as part of the ongoing operational modernization and development program at the container facility.

According to Jordan News Agency, the effort aims to provide a "safe and efficient" work environment for partners and employees. The ACT indicated that the crane removal represents a "strategic" investment in upgrading the container terminal's infrastructure. This development is intended to "better" serve partners and contribute to the company's position as a "sustainable gateway to Jordan, the Levant region, and beyond."
