Amman, Minister of Agriculture, Khaled Al Henefat, on Sunday met with Regional Attaché at the US Department of Agriculture (USDA), Elizabeth Milo.
The meeting covered trade exchange between the two countries and ways to enhance cooperation within the agricultural sector and food security.
The minister stressed that trade exchange between Jordan and the United States is completely open, and there are no obstacles between them.
He lauded US efforts in supporting development projects in the Kingdom, expressing hope that the United States would participate with the ministry in strengthening the infrastructure of the Jordanian agricultural sector.
“Jordan appreciates and thanks the US government for the continuous grants offered to the Kingdom, and it seeks more cooperation that serves the two friendly countries,” Al Henefat said.
