Ma'an: VentureX, an integrated venture development firm, has entered into a partnership with Al-Hussein Bin Talal University (AHU) to bridge the gap between academia and the job market. The collaboration, announced on Sunday, aims to enhance entrepreneurial skills among students, faculty, and the university startup center staff.
According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement will see VentureX providing hands-on training as part of its commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. The initiative includes hosting innovation hackathons, pitch events, and AI workshops, along with offering technical consulting and feasibility studies to participants.
As a key component of the partnership, VentureX will introduce its "VentureX Ambassadors" program across Jordan and Egypt, targeting student engagement. Additionally, the firm plans to launch an "Entrepreneurship Clinic" designed to offer investment advice and connect budding startups with potential funding networks.
This collaboration aligns with VentureX's strategic goal to expand its presence within the higher education sector, as it prepares to roll out a new phase of programs in Jordan and Egypt in the coming weeks. The signing ceremony was attended by University President Ateef Kharabsheh and VentureX Innovation Lead Farah Nahhas.
