Ambassador Batayneh Presents Credentials to President of European Council.

Brussels: During a ceremony today at the European Council headquarters in Brussels, Belgium, Ambassador Yousef Batayneh presented his credentials to Charles Michel, President of the European Council, as the Ambassador and Head of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan's Mission to the European Union. According to Jordan News Agency, Ambassador Batayneh conveyed greetings from His Majesty King Abdullah to Charles Michel, expressing wishes for continued development and prosperity for the European Union and its people. In response, President Michel extended his well wishes for the Kingdom and the Jordanian people, and requested Ambassador Batayneh to relay his gratitude and greetings to His Majesty King Abdullah. President Michel praised King Abdullah's wise policy and highlighted the European Union's keen interest in developing and strengthening bilateral relations and partnership initiatives with Jordan.
