Amman Mayor and Georgian Ambassador Explore Municipal Cooperation

Amman: Mayor of Greater Amman, Yousef Shawarbeh, engaged in discussions with Georgian Ambassador to Jordan, Iraq, and Lebanon, Archil Dzuliashvili, focusing on enhancing cooperation and advancing joint municipal initiatives.

According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting aimed to explore mechanisms for expanding cooperation and partnership between Amman and Tbilisi in various areas of municipal work and urban development. Shawarbeh emphasized the robust Jordanian-Georgian relations and reiterated the Greater Amman Municipality's dedication to deepening these ties and supporting joint projects that serve mutual interests.

Shawarbeh stressed the significance of bolstering cooperation in shared municipal work, highlighting how such collaboration could support sustainable development efforts, enhance public services, and improve the quality of life for residents.

Dzuliashvili, on his part, commended the efforts of the Greater Amman Municipality in strengthening partnerships with friendly cities and praised Amman's progress in municipal, urban, and cultural sectors. He also acknowledged the Municipality's development plans and infrastructure projects aimed at enhancing services for the capital and its residents.
