Amman Summer Festival to Enliven the City with National and Cultural Themes

Amman: The 17th edition of the Amman Summer Festival is set to commence on July 11, organized "free of charge" by the Greater Amman Municipality (GAM). This annual event promises a week of enriching activities, running through until July 18, and will be hosted at the scenic Al Hussein Gardens.

According to Jordan News Agency, the festival will showcase a national, cultural, and family theme, inviting the public to partake in various festivities. The event will offer a special venue for children and include shops displaying heritage products, crafts, and foodstuffs, ensuring an inclusive experience for all attendees.

The festival is expected to feature national, folkloric, and popular performances, with a goal to boost tourist activity in Amman. It aims to provide a family-friendly environment for both local citizens and visitors to Jordan. The programs will also convey educational messages through theatrical performances designed for both adults and children, enhancing the cultural experience.
