Aqaba: Ayla Oasis Development Company (AODC) has finalized the technical and logistical arrangements for the 34th edition of the Jordan Open Golf Championship, scheduled to take place from September 2-4 at the Ayla Golf Club in Aqaba. The event is part of a collaborative program initiated by the Aqaba Special Economic Zone Authority (ASEZA) and AODC for the year 2025, featuring a select group of Arab and international golfers.
According to Jordan News Agency, Mansour Kabariti, the Public Relations Director at AODC, stated that there is ongoing coordination between the Jordan Golf Federation and Ayla Golf Club to ensure a successful edition, focusing on the number and quality of participants. Kabariti emphasized the importance of addressing all logistical details to uphold the reputation of Jordanian golf and its prominent position on the local, regional, and international golf scenes.
Kabariti expressed that AODC is leveraging this edition to broaden the participant base and draw in renowned golf figures, aiming to create high-level technical momentum. This strategy is intended to elevate the tournament to the ranks of the world's top competitions, benefiting the champions, fans, and enthusiasts of the sport within the Kingdom. He also highlighted the meticulous attention given to tactical details and the preparation of the golf course, which stands as a significant milestone in the Arab region.
