Amman: The foreign ministers of Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Turkiye, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, and Egypt on Monday expressed their support for U.S. President Donald Trump’s leadership and efforts to resolve the ongoing conflict in Gaza, believing in his capacity to establish a path to peace.
According to Jordan News Agency, the ministers highlighted the significance of collaboration with the United States to strengthen regional peace. They welcomed President Trump’s proposal that aims to end the conflict, rebuild Gaza, prevent the displacement of Palestinians, promote comprehensive peace, and ensure that there is no annexation of the West Bank.
The foreign ministers declared their willingness to engage positively and constructively with the United States and other pertinent parties to finalize and execute the agreement. Their focus is on ensuring peace, security, and stability for the region’s populations.
The ministers vowed to collaborate with Washington to end the Gaza conflict through a comprehensive agreement. This agreement would guarantee the unrestricted delivery of humanitarian aid, prevent the displacement of Palestinians, secure the release of hostages, establish a security mechanism to protect all involved parties, ensure full Israeli withdrawal, rebuild Gaza, and pave the way for a just peace based on a two-state solution. This solution envisions Gaza’s full unification with the West Bank as part of a Palestinian state in accordance with international law.
