“Arab Bridge” Provides Safe Travel Alternative Amid Flight Suspensions

Amman: Amman-based Arab Bridge Maritime Co. (ABMC) announced that it continues to offer uninterrupted and secure services to travelers through its fleet operating on the Aqaba-Nuweiba international route with Egypt, maintaining regular daily trips according to their schedules.

According to Jordan News Agency, ABMC general manager Adnan Al-Abadleh highlighted in an interview that Arab Bridge has added extra trips recently to accommodate the increasing demand and pressure on sea travel following the cancellation or postponement of many flights. The Arab Bridge serves as the primary connection between the Kingdom and Egypt via the Aqaba-Nuweiba maritime route, a journey lasting two and a half hours, and the Aqaba-Taba tourist route, a 30-minute trip.

Al-Abadleh noted that due to the recent escalation in the region, many airline flights have been suspended, canceled, or diverted, preventing tourists and travelers from completing their itineraries or returning home. In response, Arab Bridge has proven to be a reliable option for travelers and tourist groups to reach their destinations through its consistent and dependable sea voyages.

The service facilitates onward travel to European countries, the United States, and other global destinations via Sharm el-Sheikh Airport and Cairo International Airport. Furthermore, Al-Abadleh mentioned that Arab Bridge is capable of transporting Iraqi and Syrian passengers from Egypt to Baghdad and Damascus via the Nuweiba-Aqaba international sea route, after securing necessary approvals, for those whose flight bookings were canceled.

Al-Abadleh reported that Arab Bridge has successfully transported over 10,000 passengers in the past three days, emphasizing the company's dedication to maritime safety standards and providing secure, dependable services. He also mentioned that travelers can book their trips through the company's offices in Jordan and Egypt or online, offering flexible choices and reasonable prices, making sea travel an economical and safe alternative.
