Amman: The Arab Parliament on Wednesday condemned renewed Israeli attacks on Syrian and Lebanese territories as "a flagrant violation" of international law and a serious threat to the sovereignty of states and the stability of the entire region.

According to Jordan News Agency, the Arab Parliament expressed grave concern over the continuation of these attacks, warning that they would only exacerbate tension and instability in the region. The statement criticized the breaches as part of a systematic policy aimed at imposing a fait accompli by force, disregarding international legitimacy and relevant United Nations and Security Council resolutions.

The Arab Parliament emphasized its unwavering support for Lebanon and Syria in their efforts to protect their sovereignty, territorial integrity, and the safety of their citizens. It urged the international community to take urgent and immediate action to halt "this dangerous escalation."

The statement reiterated the Arab Parliament's firm rejection of actions that undermine the sovereignty of Arab states. It stressed that regional security can only be achieved through adherence to international law, respect for state sovereignty, and non-interference in internal affairs.
