Amman: The Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army evacuated the 14th batch of children from Gaza on Sunday as part of the Jordan Medical Corridor initiative, which was launched in March upon Royal Directives to support Palestinians and alleviate their suffering.
According to Jordan News Agency, the latest batch comprised 34 patients, accompanied by 78 family members, who were received in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the World Health Organisation. The initiative aims to provide crucial medical treatment to those in need from Gaza.
Since the inception of the initiative, Jordan has welcomed a total of 911 individuals from Gaza. This includes 266 patients, along with 645 family members, who have been transported in several batches by land and air for medical treatment in Jordan.
