Amman: Major General Yousef Huneiti, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army, met with Tunisian Ambassador Mufida Zaribi at the General Command headquarters on Monday. Their discussions focused on enhancing joint cooperation and coordination across several fields, as well as reviewing recent regional and international developments that impact the interests of the armed forces of both countries. According to Jordan News Agency, Major General Huneiti emphasized the significance of the strategic partnership between Jordan and Tunisia. He highlighted the importance of unified international efforts to promote global security and peace, reaffirming Jordan's commitment to working closely with Tunisia to address mutual concerns. Ambassador Zaribi praised Jordan's pivotal role, under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II, in fostering regional stability and security. She expressed Tunisia's appreciation for Jordan's efforts and reiterated the importance of continued collab oration between the two nations to enhance regional cooperation and address shared challenges.
