Army Chief Assesses Readiness of Northern Military Region Units

Amman: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Maj. Gen. Yousef Ahmed Huneiti, conducted a visit to the Northern Military Region (NMR) Command to evaluate the preparedness of border units. Accompanied by senior officers from the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF)-Arab Army, Huneiti was briefed on the Command's primary tasks, current programs, and plans concerning training and logistical operations.

According to Jordan News Agency, the briefing emphasized the efforts undertaken to secure the Kingdom's borders and assessed the readiness levels of the Command's formations and units in executing various tasks. Huneiti highlighted the General Command's focus on the readiness of its formations and combat and logistical units, emphasizing the importance of continuous monitoring and assessment.

During his address, Huneiti underscored the necessity of ongoing training and development to enhance efficiency and professionalism. He stressed the importance of maintaining high levels of readiness, particularly for troops on the front lines, to ensure their ability to safeguard the nation's borders and uphold its security and stability. Concluding his visit, Huneiti expressed pride in the personnel of the region, acknowledging their dedication and commitment to their national duties in the visitors' book.
