Amman: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Major General Yousef Hunaiti on Sunday received Kuwaiti Ambassador to the Kingdom, Hamad Marri, along with former Kuwaiti military attach© Brigadier General Pilot Mohammed Ayada at the General Command. The meeting focused on strengthening military ties between the two nations.

According to Jordan News Agency, Hunaiti and Marri discussed enhancing military cooperation, specifically in operational, training, and logistical areas, to improve defense capabilities and achieve common strategic goals. The discussions emphasized the importance of deepening the military partnership to ensure the security and stability of both countries.

Hunaiti expressed the Jordan Armed Forces' dedication to maintaining strong historical relations with Kuwait, highlighting ongoing coordination efforts in military and security sectors. This commitment is aimed at reinforcing the mutual defense interests of Jordan and Kuwait.

In recognition of his contributions to military relations, Hunaiti awarded Ayada the Order of Military Merit, Second Class. This honor acknowledges Ayada's role in fostering strong defense ties and his significant efforts in advancing military cooperation between the two nations.
