Army Chief, French Ambassador Discuss Military Cooperation

Amman: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Major General Yousef Huneiti, on Wednesday received the French Ambassador to the Kingdom, Alexis Grandmaison, and his accompanying delegation at the General Command.

According to Jordan News Agency, the meeting was attended by senior officers from the Jordanian Armed Forces and the French Defense Attach© in Amman. Discussions focused on aspects of military cooperation between Jordan and France, exploring ways to strengthen joint coordination across various fields. These efforts aim to serve mutual interests and support regional security and stability.

Huneiti emphasized the importance of solidifying the existing strategic partnership with France, highlighting the depth of relations and longstanding cooperation in defense matters between the two nations.

The French Ambassador, Alexis Grandmaison, praised Jordan's pivotal role in advancing security and stability in the region under the leadership of His Majesty King Abdullah II. He also commended the efficiency and preparedness of the Jordanian Armed Forces.
