Amman: Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordan Armed Forces - Arab Army (JAF), Major General Yousef Huneiti, conducted an inspection tour on Tuesday of the 10th Royal Border Guard Brigade, a vital unit within the 2nd Border Guard Brigade of the Northern Military Zone, where he was received by the unit's commander. According to Jordan News Agency, Major General Huneiti, accompanied by the Assistant for Operations and Training and senior JAF officers, received a detailed briefing about the Northern Military Zone's responsibilities. The focus was on the Border Guard units' crucial role in preventing infiltrations and smuggling attempts in their respective areas of duty. During his visit, Huneiti also inspected the 4th Royal Border Guard Battalion, part of the Border Guard Brigade/1 of the Eastern Military Zone. The briefing there centered on the progress of ongoing operational, training, and logistical matters, as well as future strategies. The army chief underscored the importance of providing a ll necessary resources and means to ensure the security of the nation's borders, aligning with directives from His Majesty the King, the Supreme Commander, aimed at development and modernization on the border fronts.
