Amman: The Southern Military Zone intercepted a drone attempting to smuggle narcotics across Jordan's western border at dawn on Monday. A military source reported that border guards detected and intercepted the drone as it attempted to cross into Jordanian territory. Once sighted, the forces followed established rules of engagement, ultimately downing the drone and seizing its contents. The seized narcotics were subsequently transferred to the appropriate authorities for further action. According to Jordan News Agency, the source emphasized that the Jordan Armed Forces remain committed to safeguarding the Kingdom's security and stability, deploying advanced capabilities to deter all forms of infiltration and smuggling operations along the border.
