Travellers to Jordan are no longer required to produce a health insurance certificate against the Coronavirus upon landing in the Kingdom under a decision made by the Acting Minister of Health, Minister of Interior Mazen Faraya, on Wednesday.

The decision, which was recommended by the National Epidemiological Committee, also mandated the continuation of immunization and encouraged the administration of a fourth dose after establishing clear criteria for this dose, particularly six months following the third shot.

In addition, except in emergency and suspected cases of virus infection, where a rapid antigen test (RAT) can be done, the PCR examination is no longer required for entering and visiting hospitals and health institutions.
