ASE Closes Higher with 0.51% Increase

AMMAN: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) concluded Monday's trading session on a positive note, recording a 0.51% increase to close at 2,477 points. The day's trading activity witnessed a brisk exchange of shares and a notable turnover.

According to Jordan News Agency, the ASE saw a total of 4.5 million shares traded, which generated a turnover of JD9.9 million across 2,257 transactions. This activity reflected a mixed performance among the listed companies, with varying outcomes in share prices.

Market data indicated that the share prices for 35 companies rose, while 18 companies experienced declines. Meanwhile, 31 companies saw their share prices remain unchanged. The mixed performance highlights the diverse market dynamics at play during the trading session.
