ASE Closes Higher with Increased Trading Activity

Amman: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) recorded a total trading value of JD14 million on Wednesday, with six million shares traded through 4,479 transactions. The ASE General Index closed higher at 3,273 points, marking a 0.18 percent increase compared to the previous session.

According to Jordan News Agency, the industrial and financial sectors saw gains, with increases of 1.23% and 0.20%, respectively. In contrast, the services sector experienced a decline of 0.58%. Out of the 100 companies whose shares were traded, 42 posted gains, 32 recorded losses, and the remaining shares remained unchanged.
