Amman: Turnover on the Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) reached JD9.3 million Wednesday, as 4.2 million shares changed hands through 4,025 transactions. The general price index fell to 3,971 points, down 0.48% from the last performance.
According to Jordan News Agency, at the sector level, the financial and services indexes dropped 0.65% and 0.45%, respectively, while the industrial benchmark saw a slight increase of 0.27%. Among the 106 companies traded, 46 posted gains, and 25 experienced declines compared with the previous session's closing prices.
