Amman: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) general index fell 1.23 percent on Thursday, closing at 3,806 points.
According to Jordan News Agency, turnover reached JD16 million, with 6.3 million shares traded through 4,557 transactions. All sector indices experienced declines. The industrial index fell 2.40 percent, the services index dropped 1.34 percent, and the financial index decreased 0.75 percent.
Of the 95 companies traded on the ASE, 28 recorded share-price gains while 42 posted declines.
