ASE Records a 0.45% Decline as Trading Volume Hits JD13.4 Million

Amman: The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) experienced a trading volume of JD 13.4 million on Monday, with a total of 8.6 million shares being exchanged through 4,459 transactions.

According to Jordan News Agency, the ASE general index closed at 2,891 points, marking a decrease of 0.45 percent. Out of the 105 companies traded on the ASE, 27 companies experienced an increase in their share prices, while 41 companies saw a decline.

Breaking down the performance by sector, the industrial index faced a notable decline of 1.25 percent. The services index also witnessed a decrease, falling by 0.32 percent. Meanwhile, the financial index recorded a drop of 0.22 percent.
