Amman: The Ministry of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs and Holy Places has issued a warning to citizens regarding fraudulent advertisements. These advertisements falsely claim to organize campaigns and trips under "courtesy" visa lists or on a "Badal - substitute" basis for performing Hajj, the pilgrimage to Mecca.
According to Jordan News Agency, the ministry released a statement on Thursday advising the public to be cautious of these scam posts circulating on social media, especially during the Hajj season. The ministry emphasized the importance of avoiding these fraudulent operations to protect citizens from deceitful schemes.
