Minister of Transport, Wajih Azaiza, met on Thursday, with World Bank Resident Representative in Jordan, Holly Benner.
Discussions went over cooperation aspects and ways to benefit from the bank’s expertise and technical assistance that can be provided to Jordan’s transport sector, according to a ministry statement.
The minister briefed Benner on the most important needs of Jordan’s transport sector, primarily technical support in all fields related to studies, training and various expertise.
Benner, for her part, stressed the importance of learning about the various technical and training needs of Jordan’s transport sector, expressing the World Bank’s readiness to provide the necessary technical needs.
