Jamal Abu Obeid, Mayor Bani Obeid Municipality, discussed on Wednesday with Azerbaijani Ambassador to Jordan, Eldar Salimov, ways to enhance and develop bilateral relations and joint cooperation. During the ambassador's visit to the municipality located in the northern governorate of Irbid, Abu Obeid gave a presentation on the municipality's work, some of its future projects, and some of the achievements the municipality has made since the beginning of this year. He said that this visit is an important step to build a strategic partnership between Bani Obeid Municipality and the Azerbaijani Embassy, which opens new horizons for cooperation in several fields and enhances opportunities for sustainable development in the region. The Azerbaijani ambassador expressed admiration for the municipality's remarkable developments in various fields. The ambassador was also briefed on some of the future projects that the municipality is working on, emphasizing the importance of these projects in promoting sustainable local development.
