Amman: The Ministry of Social Development has announced a new cooperation agreement with Abwab Abwaab, an online learning ecosystem, to provide digital educational content to beneficiaries of the ministry's childcare centers, which include orphans and children without family support. Minister of Social Development Wafa Bani Mustafa, who sponsored the signing ceremony, emphasized that this partnership aims to strengthen connections with the Kingdom's private sector and introduce new forms of educational leadership.
According to Jordan News Agency, the agreement seeks to facilitate access to digital educational resources for care center beneficiaries, focusing on developing their basic skills through modern technological means. Minister Bani Mustafa highlighted that the partnership will enable these children to continue their education with integrated and interactive content, aligning with the Ministry's mission to enhance services for orphans and children lacking family support. The introduction of digital intelligence tools at the care centers is also a significant aspect of this initiative.
Minister Bani Mustafa urged the development of services for children in foster homes, particularly for those who have missed educational opportunities. She stressed the importance of equipping these beneficiaries with essential educational skills, which she believes will positively affect the target groups. Furthermore, the collaboration with the Abwab platform is expected to improve the beneficiaries' proficiency with digital tools, thereby enhancing their quality of life and preparing them for future labor market demands.
Sherine Barakat, head of the Jordan branch of the Abwab AI platform for digital content, underscored the significance of cooperation between the private and public sectors. Barakat commended the ministry's continuous efforts to enhance services for its target groups and expressed optimism for future collaborations.
