Board of Trustees of National Dialogue Thanks President El- Sisi For Urgent Response On Pretrial Detention Recommendations

The Board of Trustees of the National Dialogue said he appreciates the urgent response of President Abdel Fattah El Sisi to recommendations, referred from the Dialogue about pretrial detention issue and criminal justice. The Board of Trustees also commended the president's directives about referring the recommendations for the government to accelerate taking necessary measures to activate such agreed recommendations. In a statement on Wednesday 21/8/2024, the Board of Trustees thanked president Sisi for fully supporting the National Dialogue and his deep response to the issued recommendations. It also said it appreciated the president's confidence that all agreed recommendations are the fruit of serious discussions. The Board of Trustees praised as well the president's greater interest in applying justice and activating the National Strategy for Human Rights.
