The Cabinet held a session on Wednesday, headed by Prime Minister Bishr Khasawneh, during which Minister of Industry Trade and Supply provided an update on the availability of staple foods as well as the rates of domestic production and consumption.
The Prime Minister emphasized the need to take measures for achieving food security, by maintaining strategic food stocks for a safe and sufficient period of time in light of global changes.
