Nasrallah: The Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood has become extended on more than one front and in more than one arena

Baghdad – The Secretary-General of the Lebanese Hezbollah, Hassan Nasrallah, confirmed that the Battle of Al-Aqsa Flood has become extended on more than one front and in more than one arena.

In a speech he delivered this afternoon, Nasrallah saluted the people of Gaza, who are valiantly confronting the Israeli aggression.

He said that Al-Aqsa flood was a Palestinian operation carried out by 100 percent Palestinians.

Nasrallah confirmed that Al-Aqsa flood caused a political, psychological and moral earthquake and would leave its effects on the entity’s present and future.

Nasrallah added that ” if we wanted to search for a battle with complete legitimacy, there is no battle like the fight against the Zionists.

Nasrallah said that absolute secrecy was what ensured the success of the October 7 operation.

He added that the American speed in embracing, and supporting Israel revealed the weakness and failure of this entity./End

Interior Ministry’s directorates deal with rain-related cases

Manama, Based on the follow-up and general safety instructions of Interior Minister and Chairman of the Civil Defence Council, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, the competent Interior Ministry’s directorates have dealt with heavy rain implications.

The Operations Directorate, in coordination with the police directorates of the four governorates, the General Directorate of Traffic and the General Directorate of Civil Defence, has taken onsite procedures to help citizens and residents deal with rain-related cases, including rainwater gathering areas.

The traffic patrols dealt with various cases, including 43 accidents with minor damages, pulling broken down vehicles and regulating traffic on main roads and intersections. They were also involved in traffic diversions and monitoring traffic flow.

The civil defence dealt with various cases, including 50 cases related to falling trees, lampposts, shades and short circuits. The rainwater was pumped out in cooperation with the Ministry of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture and the Ministry of Works. Meanwhile, the Coast Guard called upon seafarers to be cautious and follow instructions. The General Directorate of Media and Security Culture carried out its awareness role through the Police Media Centre website and social media to urge the public to be cautious and follow rain-related instructions.

Massive demonstrations in Paris in support of Palestine and demanding a ceasefire in Gaza

Baghdad – This evening, the French capital, Paris, witnessed mass demonstrations in support of Palestine and calling on the government to intervene to stop the war on the Gaza Strip.

The demonstrators went out in protests in support of the Gaza Strip, which is being subjected to intense bombardment, calling on the government to intervene to bring about a ceasefire.

Leftist organizations, associations and parties called for a massive demonstration in Paris and other cities, the day after tomorrow, Saturday, in support of Palestine and stopping the war.

The Director-General of the World Health Organization, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, said that the organization recorded 218 attacks on health facilities in the Gaza Strip.

As the war enters its twenty-seventh day since the start of Operation “Al-Aqsa Flood,” the Israeli army is intensifying its bombing of the Gaza Strip, while the Palestinian factions continue to target concentrations of Israeli forces penetrating the Strip. While the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the victims of the continuous bombing had risen to 9,061 dead and 32,000 injured.

HM King thanked by Iraqi President

National Communication Centre of Bahrain: Bahrain’s Ambassador to Israel returned to the Kingdom, and the Israeli Ambassador previously departed for his country

Manama, With reference to the Council of Representatives’ statement, the National Communication Centre of the Kingdom of Bahrain can confirm that the Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to Tel Aviv returned to the Kingdom some time ago, and that the Ambassador of Israel to the Kingdom of Bahrain had also departed the Kingdom previously, also confirming that direct flights between Bahrain International Airport and Tel Aviv Airport had stopped as of several weeks ago.

The Centre stresses the Kingdom of Bahrain’s commitment to enhance security and stability and consolidate peace in the region. This is achieved by giving the Palestinian people their legitimate rights and finding a just outcome to the Palestinian issue, leading to a two-state solution in accordance with the Arab Peace Initiative. This must be delivered in a way that guarantees the rights of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state, with East Jerusalem as its capital.

The Centre highlighted that the priority at this stage is to protect the lives of civilians in accordance with international humanitarian law and secure urgent humanitarian corridors to deliver relief and medical aid to the Gaza Strip. The government reaffirms the need to spare the region from the consequences of a new spiral of violence through finding a clear political outcome that leads to a just, comprehensive and sustainable peace, delivering stability and security for all.

Speaker of the US House of Representatives: We will take a decision to withdraw confidence from Biden “soon”

Baghdad – The Speaker of the US House of Representatives, Mike Johnson, announced that perhaps the decision to withdraw confidence from US President Joe Biden will be taken soon.

“I think we will reach a decision on this issue very soon,” he said in a press conference in response to a question about whether there was enough evidence to begin accountability proceedings.

He added that the decision will be made based on the evidence and “where it leads.”

A Republican-controlled committee is conducting an investigation aimed at proving President Joe Biden’s involvement in the business dealings of his relatives who allegedly trade in his name around the world.

Last September, the committee began a formal investigation into the impeachment procedures for US President Joe Biden, and also issued subpoenas for the bank records of James Biden and Hunter Biden.

Biden insists that he does not know about the business relationships of his relatives abroad.

Second relief aid shipment dispatched to Gaza in Egypt

Manama, The second Bahraini aid shipment to Gaza arrived at El Arish International Airport in Egypt to be delivered to the Egyptian Red Crescent, which will then handed over to the Palestinian Red Crescent in the Gaza Strip to be distributed to hospitals.

Mustafa Al Sayed, Secretary General of RHF, and Chief Executive of the National Committee for Supporting the Palestinians in Gaza commended His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s directives, and the support the foundation received from the government led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister. He also praised the efforts of His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Work and Youth Affairs in leading the RFH in supporting the Palestinian people in Gaza.

The second shipment included 40 tonnes of medical, food, and relief materials to assist Palestinians and alleviate their suffering due to the ongoing Gaza war.

Dr. Mustafa Al-Sayed announced that the next relief aid shipments will be sent from Egypt, with trucks directly transporting materials from Cairo to Rafah crossing.

It has been agreed to build a field hospital and residential complex during Gaza’s reconstruction, in addition to other developmental projects.

Bahrain, Saudi Arabia discuss Hajj preparations

Manama, Nawaf bin Mohammed Al Maada, Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, today received Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al Rabiah, Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah, who is on an official visit to the kingdom.

Minister Al Maawda affirmed the depth of the solid long-standing Bahraini-Saudi relations, hailing the steady progress of bilateral ties at all levels thanks to the unwavering interest of the two countries’ leaderships.

He asserted that based on the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, the High Committee for Hajj and Umrah Affairs is keen to align its work with the Saudi Hajj and Umrah Ministry, according to its new strategy, adding that it has already begun preparing for the Hajj season 1445 AH soon after the end of the last Hajj season through a series of preparatory meetings between the two countries’ ministries.

An extended Bahraini-Saudi meeting, attended by the two ministers, was held. It discussed areas of cooperation and coordination in the field of Hajj and Umrah as well as ways to strengthen joint work mechanisms within the framework of early preparations for the next Hajj season.

The Bahraini side included representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Interior Ministry, the Health Ministry, the Information and e-Government Authority and the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority.

Meanwhile, the Saudi delegation comprised representatives from the Ministry of the Interior, the Zakat, Tax and Customs Authority, the King Fahd Causeway Authority, the Saudi Tourism Authority, the Guests of God Service Programme, Saudia (Saudi Airlines), Flynas and Tashir Company.

The Justice Minister lauded the comprehensive development plan recently launched by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, noting that the early organisation of pilgrims’ registration procedures will reflect positively on the quality of services delivered to Hajj pilgrims.

He expressed deepest thanks and gratitude to the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the distinguished care and services enjoyed by Bahraini pilgrims, in particular, and their counterparts from other countries, in general.

He commended Saudi Arabia’s pioneering initiatives and efforts to develop Hajj and Umrah services, the most prominent of which is the “Nusuk” platform.

HM King bids farewell to HM King of Jordan

Manama, His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa bids farewell to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al-Hussein, King of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II of Jordan at the end of their visit to the kingdom.

Their Majesties had held talks and reviewed bilateral relations and means to further consolidate cooperation in various areas.
