Central Bank of Jordan Announces Second FinTech Festival 2026

Amman: The Central Bank of Jordan (CBJ) announced on Monday the second edition of the Jordan FinTech Festival 2026, scheduled for September 23-24 at the King Hussein Bin Talal Convention Centre in the Dead Sea.

According to Jordan News Agency, CBJ Governor Adel Sharkas stated that the festival highlights the Kingdom's evolving financial sector and its vision for a digital ecosystem aimed at driving sustainable development and competitiveness. Sharkas emphasized that the event aligns with Jordan's goal of becoming a regional fintech hub by fostering digital transformation, financial inclusion, and innovation.

The festival is set to feature expert panels, specialized workshops, a digital finance exhibition, startup pitch sessions, networking opportunities, and a FinTech Hackathon designed to develop innovative digital solutions. It aims to bring together financial institutions, fintech startups, regulators, investors, and industry experts to explore global trends and showcase emerging solutions. Panels will address topics such as digital payments, financial and banking digitalization, open finance, digital assets, blockchain innovation, embedded finance, banking-as-a-service, entrepreneurship, and sustainable finance.

The event is organized in partnership with the Association of Banks in Jordan and supported by the German Development Cooperation (GIZ).
