Azraq: Two children injured by shrapnel from a foreign object that fell in the Azraq area are in stable condition, according to medical officials at Zarqa Governmental Hospital.
According to Jordan News Agency, the hospital's acting director, Ahmed Rasmi, confirmed that the children's condition is under control, with ongoing medical assessments being carried out. He emphasized that the situation is being managed with the highest levels of preparedness and in accordance with approved medical protocols.
Zarqa Governor Firas Abu Qaoud visited the hospital on Thursday to follow up on the children's health and was briefed by medical staff on the treatments administered and response measures taken.
At the conclusion of his visit, Abu Qaoud instructed the relevant authorities to enhance public safety procedures and take all necessary preventive measures. He stressed that the security and health agencies are operating with full professionalism and vigilance to contain the incident and ensure the safety of all citizens.
