Beijing: China on Tuesday began three-day live-fire drills in the South China Sea, according to a statement from the China Maritime Safety Administration. The exercises started at 0800 (0000GMT) and are scheduled to conclude on Thursday at 1800 (1000GMT).
According to Anadolu Agency, the statement from the China Maritime Safety Administration emphasized that naval vessels are prohibited from entering the designated areas, which have been specified with coordinates in the communication.
