China: China successfully launched a new communication satellite into space Tuesday from the Wenchang Space Launch Site in southern Hainan province, state media Xinhua News reported.
According to Anadolu Agency, the ChinaSat 3B satellite was successfully launched at 7.50 pm local time (1150GMT) on a Long March-7A carrier rocket. The satellite will offer voice, data, radio, and television transmission services.
This launch marks the 577th mission of the Long March series carrier rockets, underscoring the ongoing advancements in China's space capabilities.
