Amman: The West Asian Football Federation (WAFF) signed a cooperation agreement with SOS Children's Villages Jordan to bolster the Kingdom's community sector and leverage sports as a developmental tool to facilitate empowerment in Jordanian communities.
According to Jordan News Agency, the signing ceremony took place on Monday at WAFF's headquarters in Amman, involving key figures Khalil Alsalem, WAFF Development Secretary-General, and Mustafa Wishah, Chairman of SOS Children's Villages Jordan. This collaborative effort aims to involve SOS children in WAFF-organized tournaments, providing them with support and opportunities to engage in educational and interactive programs. These initiatives are designed to enhance the children's skills and promote social integration within activities organized by SOS.
Alsalem emphasized that this partnership amplifies opportunities for sustainable development and empowers SOS children by opening new avenues for supporting the beneficiaries of the Villages. Concurrently, Wishah lauded the collaboration, highlighting the essential role of football in aiding the SOS children and broadening the scope of the organization's work.
SOS Children's Villages Jordan remains committed to implementing a wide range of initiatives and programs to empower its beneficiaries, ensuring they receive comprehensive care and thrive in a safe environment.
