Manama, The Embassy of the People's Republic of China in the Kingdom of Bahrain hosted a reception to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the founding of the Republic. The event was attended by Dr. Ramzan bin Abdullah Al Noaimi, Minister of Information, Abdulla bin Adel Fakhro, Minister of Industry and Commerce, Bassem bin Yaqub Al Hamar, President of the Survey and Land Registration Bureau, and Dr. Isa Nasser Al-Nuaimi, the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for Consular and Administrative Affairs, along with several esteemed heads of diplomatic missions accredited to the Kingdom. Dr. Isa Nasser Al-Nuaimi expressed congratulations and best wishes to Ambassaddor Ni Ruchi, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Kingdom of Bahrain, on behalf of the Government and people of Bahrain. He conveyed great pride and appreciation for the ongoing growth in Bahraini-Chinese relations. He highlighted the announcement of the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between the tw o countries during a state visit by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to the Chinese capital, Beijing, in May, following an invitation from HisExcellency President Xi Jinping. Building Licenses Rise 3.2% in First Half of 2026
Amman: The number of building licenses issued in the Kingdom rose by 3.2 percent in the first half of 2026, reaching 12,070 compared with 11,700 in the same period of 2025, the Department of Statistics (DoS) said Monday.
