Amman: The Civil Defence Department (CDD) responded to 1,605 emergency calls across Jordan in the past 24 hours, achieving an average response time of 7 minutes and 33 seconds. Among the incidents, CDD crews conducted 123 rescue operations, with an average response time of 7 minutes and 34 seconds. They responded to 48 fire incidents, with an average response time of 7 minutes and 35 seconds.
According to Jordan News Agency, the CDD emphasised its unwavering readiness to handle a variety of emergencies and urged Jordanians to abide by safety guidelines. In case of an emergency, people are urged to call at 911.
