Amman: The Consultation and Training Center at the University of Jordan, in collaboration with CyberShield Academy of the Jordan Design and Development Bureau (JODDB) and the King Abdullah II School of Information Technology, has launched a specialized diploma program in artificial intelligence (AI).
According to Jordan News Agency, the university said in a statement on Wednesday that the program aims to equip participants with the knowledge and skills needed to enter the rapidly evolving field of AI and its advanced applications. Described as a unique opportunity for those interested in future technologies and digital innovation, the diploma is priced at JD2,500.
Spanning 500 training hours, the program covers key areas such as an introduction to IT and AI, applied mathematics for AI, Python programming, databases and data science fundamentals, data analysis, machine learning, data mining and business intelligence, the Internet of Things (IoT) and robotics, practical applications in computer vision and natural language processing, generative AI, and a final capstone project.
