Amman:Temperatures are forecasted to dip 4-5 degrees Celsius below the seasonal averages on Thursday, resulting in more pleasant weather for most regions in Jordan and a chance of light rain in the far north. According to Jordan News Agency, the Jordan Meteorological Department reports that clouds at varying altitudes will be present throughout the day, accompanied by moderate westerly winds that may intensify at times. Despite the overall cooling trend, areas such as the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will remain relatively hot. High temperatures on Thursday are expected to reach 25 degrees Celsius in East Amman and the plains, and 23 degrees Celsius in West Amman. The northern highlands will see highs of 22 degrees Celsius, and the Sharah highlands will reach 23 degrees Celsius. In contrast, the Badia is expected to hit 29 degrees Celsius, with the northern Jordan Valley at 33 degrees Celsius, the southern Jordan Valley at 35 degrees Celsius, and the Dead Sea and Aqaba at 34 degrees Celsius. The cooler conditions are anticipated to persist into Friday, with clouds continuing to cover parts of the country. Light and scattered showers are possible from midday in northern areas and parts of the eastern regions. A slight rise in temperatures is expected on Saturday, leading to a shift from pleasant to moderate conditions across most areas, while the Jordan Valley, the Dead Sea, and Aqaba will remain relatively hot. On Sunday, little change is expected, with moderate conditions prevailing and clouds appearing at varying altitudes. Westerly winds will continue to be moderate, occasionally becoming active.
