London: His Royal Highness Crown Prince Al Hussein bin Abdullah II, during a meeting with United Kingdom Prime Minister Sir Keir Starmer, emphasized the enduring ties between Jordan and the UK, and the potential for expanding cooperation. The meeting took place at 10 Downing Street, where discussions focused on regional developments and the need for collaborative efforts to restore stability.
According to Jordan News Agency, the Crown Prince highlighted the importance of supporting Palestinians in achieving their full legitimate rights, advocating for an independent state based on the two-state solution. He commended the UK's recognition of the State of Palestine, underscoring the significance of this stance.
The discussions also included recent events in Gaza, with the Crown Prince stressing the necessity of implementing the agreement to end the conflict and ensuring the unrestricted flow of relief aid throughout the Strip. The meeting was attended by Jordan's Ambassador to the UK Manar Dabbas, Director of the Office of the Crown Prince Zaid Baqain, and UK National Security Adviser Jonathan Powell.
