Amman: The Crown Prince Foundation (CPF) has announced the launch of the second edition of the Maker Collective, set for October 25 at the Al Hussein Cultural Center and Ras Al Ain Hangar in Amman. The event aims to foster innovation and entrepreneurship by bringing together makers, students, researchers, entrepreneurs, and artists on a national platform to exchange experiences and build partnerships.

According to Jordan News Agency, this year’s forum will feature a significant exhibition with over 100 innovators, startups, students, and artists displaying their projects. Academic institutions and specialized organizations are also expected to participate in the event.

The program will offer six free hands-on workshops covering design, digital manufacturing, technology, and handicrafts. Attendees can engage in interactive activities such as drone simulations and robotics experiments. The event will also feature nine experts who will lead discussion sessions on innovation, technology, and entrepreneurship, alongside “Mini Talks Tour” success stories.

International speaker Daniele Ingrassia, founder of In-Machines, is scheduled to deliver a keynote address on open-source machine design and advanced manufacturing. New features for this edition include an “Expert Corner” providing private mentoring sessions with 16 experts and the introduction of Jordan’s first mobile digital manufacturing lab, equipped with 3D printers, CNC machines, and laser cutters. The event will also introduce the “Maker Map,” an online platform that maps labs, workshops, suppliers, and support programs nationwide.
